  • 24 May 2009 - DazukoFS 3.0.1-rc2 has been posted. rc1 contained a bug that didn't allow files to be created.
  • 30 Apr 2009 - DazukoFS 3.0.1-rc1 has been posted. This release candidate includes several bug fixes for DazukoFS. The patches for various Linux kernel versions and distributions are not included in this package.
  • 23 Mar 2009 - A new snapshot section has been added to the download page. This makes it easy to download the latest DazukoFS code. Although snapshots are not heavily tested, they should work correctly.
  • 17 Mar 2009 - The legacy stable version was updated to 2.3.7. It includes a patch from Frantisek Hrbata to support FreeBSD 7.
  • 25 Feb 2009 - The legacy stable version was updated to 2.3.6. It includes a patch from Frantisek Hrbata to support RedirFS 0.6. This makes it possible to use Dazuko 2.x with the latest Linux kernels.
  • 22 Feb 2009 - DazukoFS 3.0.0 has been released. It is based on 3.0.0-rc4 and includes patches to support many other kernel versions. The Dazuko 2.x branch has been orphaned (i.e. it is no longer maintained). All efforts are now focussed exclusively on the DazukoFS 3.x branch.
  • 8 Feb 2009 - A DazukoFS 3.0.0-rc6 version has been posted to address some errors in the patches to support older kernels.
  • 5 Feb 2009 - Today marks 7 years of the Dazuko project. With the current transition to DazukoFS and efforts for Linux mainline acceptance underway, it is difficult to say where the project stands today. 2009 will certainly prove to be a landmark year for the project. Please read an import update email posted to the Dazuko devel mailing list.
  • 3 Feb 2009 - An updated DazukoFS patchset has been submitted to the Linux Kernel Mailing List for inclusion in the Linux kernel. This patchset is based on the newly posted 3.0.0-rc5 version. Although this version requires Linux 2.6.29-rc3, the package includes patches to patch the code for Linux 2.6.26, 2.6.27, and openSUSE 11.0.
  • 21 Dec 2008 - DazukoFS has been submitted to the Linux Kernel Mailing List for inclusion in the Linux kernel. With this, a highly critical review process is certain to begin.
  • 30 Nov 2008 - DazukoFS 3.0.0-rc4 has been posted. It includes an important fix with dentry and vfsmount reference counting when file access is denied. This represents the current state of the Linux Submission patchset.
  • 23 Nov 2008 - Efforts are now underway to prepare a set of patches to submit DazukoFS for inclusion in the Linux kernel. A new Linux Submission page has been created to track these efforts.
  • 7 Nov 2008 - A separate libdazuko package has been posted (as testing). This package provides a userspace library to interact with DazukoFS. The package also includes a wrapper library that provides the Dazuko 2.x interface, but uses DazukoFS. Using the DazukoFS library is certainly more efficient than using the wrapper library, but I decided to provide the wrapper library anyway just for fun.
  • 25 Oct 2008 - DazukoFS 3.0.0-rc3 has been posted. This adds a new feature called group tracking. If an application sets this flag when registering with DazukoFS, the group will be automatically removed once the last open file handle has been closed. This will prevent DazukoFS mounts from hanging if registered applications crash. This version has been updated to support Linux 2.6.27. (Support for Linux 2.6.26 is available by a patch supplied in the package.)
  • 9 Oct 2008 - The next release candidate for DazukoFS 3.0.0 has been posted. A new ignore-device has been added to allow applications to avoid being detected by DazukoFS. This is disabled by default, but may be necessary for some applications. Also, a few important bugs were fixed, thanks to several reports. If you see any warnings or errors, please report them.
  • 24 Sep 2008 - The first release candidate for DazukoFS 3.0.0 has been posted. DazukoFS is a complete rewrite of Dazuko. It is based on nullfs and provides a totally new interface. DazukoFS is significantly faster than Dazuko. An article will be posted here that shows benchmarks and digs into the technology. Be aware that Dazuko and DazukoFS are totally separate. Applications written for Dazuko will not work with DazukoFS and vice versa. However, it is possible to have both Dazuko and DazukoFS running at the same time (to allow applications to transition to DazukoFS).
  • 6 Aug 2008 - nullfs 0.0.4 has been posted. This version supports Linux 2.6.26. Please see the CHANGELOG included in the package for a full list of changes.
  • 30 Jul 2008 - Some problems with the changes relating to memory allocation were discovered in the first pre-release. Version 2.3.6-pre2 has been posted and should address these issues.
  • 17 Jul 2008 - Pre-release version 2.3.6-pre1 has been posted. This version adds suport for the new RedirFS 0.3 API. Use the "--redirfsdir" configure option to build Dazuko as a RedirFS filter.
  • 12 Jul 2008 - Kernel patches for Linux 2.6.26 and openSUSE 11.0 have been added to the Downloads page.
  • 18 Jun 2008 - Dazuko 2.3.5 and nullfs 0.0.3 have been merged together as DazukoFS. This is now available in the development section of the Downloads page. Testers are welcome, but please be aware that nullfs is still considered experimental. Be sure to read through the README's within the package.
  • 7 Jun 2008 - 2.3.5 has been released. It has been made available in patch form for Linux kernels after 2.6.22. Please see the README listed next to each download.
  • 17 May 2008 - Version 0.0.3 of nullfs has been posted in the development downloads. This version now locks the parent directory while making changes to the underlying files. Copyrights and code style has also been updated to bring the code into a form that will be acceptable to mainline Linux.
  • 27 Apr 2008 - Version 0.0.2 of nullfs has been posted in the development downloads. This version supports Linux 2.6.25.
  • 23 Apr 2008 - Version 0.0.1 of nullfs has been posted in the development downloads. This is a NOOP stackable filesystem that has been written from scratch (though based on the work of the FiST and ecryptfs projects). nullfs will eventually become the basis for DazukoFS (Dazuko 3.0). Using nullfs we will be able to work out any bugs related to stackable filesystems.
  • 20 Mar 2008 - The pre-release version 2.3.5-pre1 has now been made available as a Linux 2.6 kernel patch. This patch will allow Dazuko to work with the latest Linux kernels. Please read the README included in the package.
  • 20 Feb 2008 - 2.3.5-pre1 has been posted. This addresses a major locking problem on FreeBSD as well as several compiling issues reported with the 2.3.4 version. It also adds support for Dazuko to be compiled as a RedirFS filter.

  • 11 Oct 2007 - 2.3.4 has been released and is labeled as the latest stable version. Aside from many small fixes and enhancements, this version includes one important change. For Linux 2.6 with LSM, there is no longer a dependency on the __d_path kernel symbol. This means that no kernel patches are required for Linux 2.6 if you use LSM (default and recommended).
  • 1 Oct 2007 - Pre-release version 2.3.4-pre3 has been posted. This includes some minor fixes and new options as requested by users. It also includes an LSM API patch that was being shipped with openSUSE. As always, please refer to the CHANGELOG for more details.
  • 29 Aug 2007 - Due to another change in the upcoming Linux 2.6.23 LSM API, another pre-release for 2.3.4 has been posted.
  • 27 Aug 2007 - 2.3.4-pre1 has been posted. With this version, Dazuko for Linux 2.6 (LSM) no longer requires __d_path(). This allows SMP machines to safely support chroot'd processes with Dazuko. This version also adds support for the latest Linux LSM API.
  • 22 Mar 2007 - The next official stable version, 2.3.3, has been released. Aside from adding support for the latest Linux kernels (up to 2.6.21), this version includes several internal fixes and improvements, particularly for thread-based Dazuko applications or applications using Dazuko's Trusted Application Framework.
  • 8 Mar 2007 - 2.3.3-pre3 has been posted to address some issues detecting the LSM version for Linux 2.6.19 and 2.6.20 kernels. An updated language binding for Lua has also been included.

  • 6 May 2005 - There have been bug reports for Dazuko showing up in various Linux distributions over the past few months. Until now Dazuko has been unable to run in a 64-bit kernel while talking to 32-bit applications. However, H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH has recently contributed a substantial amount of code introducing a new "streaming" device protocol that further abstracts the current device protocol. This has made it possible for a 64-bit Dazuko to talk to a 32-bit application. This code is currently only available in CVS, but will be included in the upcoming 2.1.0-pre4 version. Many thanks to H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH for this contribution!
  • 25 Mar 2005 - The next pre-release for Dazuko 2.1.0 has been posted. There are new functions added to the API to support trusted applications and access caching. • 5 Feb 2005 - Happy Birthday Dazuko! 3 years of open development are marked with a special birthday pre-release of 2.1.0. As with 2.0.0, the new 2.1.x series brings more fundemental architectural changes to provide a more flexible, robust, and cleaner implementation. This can already be seen by a dramatic performance improvement for FreeBSD and Linux 2.2/2.4 systems running the new pre-release. Groups now each have their own configuration settings and the interface has been ported to Ruby, Lua, and PHP. Many thanks to all the people who have been working together to continually push the project to new heights.
  • 1 Feb 2005 - Dazuko 2.0.5 has been released. This new version includes many refinements for Linux 2.6 support. Please read the CHANGELOG for details. This will be the last release in the 2.0.x series.
  • 18 Jan 2005 - I recently attended a Malware on Linux Detection Meeting in Hamburg, Germany. Many important topics about current problems and future features for Dazuko were discussed. My presentation has been posted in the Downloads section. I have also posted a new pre-release for 2.0.5, which addresses some new problems with Linux 2.6 that were introduced with the last pre-release.
  • 25 Dec 2004 - Rather than officially releasing 2.0.5, a new pre-release has been posted. This includes minor fixes to address some problems reported with a few distributions/platforms. Unless new issues are reported, this will be the final pre-release.
  • 15 Dec 2004 - The next 2.0.5 pre-release has been posted. This version fixes problems reported with various GNU/Linux distributions and the latest FreeBSD version. It also includes udev/sysfs support for Linux 2.6.

  • 30 Oct 2004 - 2.0.4 has now been officially released. This version represents a major improvement over 2.0.3 for Linux 2.6 users. It also includes many new features for FreeBSD 4 and FreeBSD 5.
  • 24 Oct 2004 - Another pre-release for 2.0.4 has been posted (pre5). This version has better "out-of-the-box" RSBAC support, removal of Linux 2.6 kernel debugging messages, and further improvements for Linux kernel configuration detection.
  • 23 Oct 2004 - I have posted the next pre-release for 2.0.4. This new version includes many new checks so that Dazuko can be installed on Fedora Core 2 systems. All FreeBSD 4 features have been ported over to FreeBSD 5 as well.
  • 8 Oct 2004 - 2.0.4-pre3 has been posted. This version finally solves the problems for SuSE 9.1 users. I am receiving bug reports for Mandrake and Fedora, so I will be tackling them next. This version also includes many new improvements for FreeBSD 4. These improvements will be ported over to the other platforms over the course of the next versions.
  • 12 Sep 2004 - Linux 2.6 and it's new security model (LSM) have been a nightmare for the Dazuko project. After reaching the limits of my frustration, I finally sat down and rigorously went through all the details of LSM, stacking, and how to do things "correctly". An enormous effort was spent developing a completely new LSM implementation for Dazuko and it has been tested on all Linux 2.6.x kernels. It also correctly supports stacking (as good as LSM permits). I am very pleased/relieved to post the new 2.0.4-pre version. All Linux 2.6 Dazuko users are strongly encouraged to upgrade.
  • 5 Sep 2004 - An early pre-release of 2.1.0 has been posted. The 2.1.x series includes a new abstraction layer in userspace. This will make porting Dazuko to non-UNIX systems (such as Windows) much easier. A "dummy" extension (with example) is now included to help developers understand what needs to be done when porting Dazuko to other platforms.
  • 4 Sep 2004 - Version 2.0.3 has now been officially released. Since 2.0.2 there have been several bug fixes, improved support for Linux 2.6, a loosening in the restrictions on registered user processes, and the Dazuko interface being made available in Perl and Python. Exciting new work has already begun on the upcoming 2.1.x version. Many thanks to the community, which is continually providing advice, patches, and new ideas for future development.
  • 18 Aug 2004 - 2.0.3-pre4 has been posted. This version includes some minor optimizations and bugfixes. It also removes internal checks for root access and relies on proper /dev/dazuko mode settings for authentication control. This change gives users the freedom to control who may use Dazuko.
  • 19 Jul 2004 - A new pre-release has been posted, 2.0.3-pre3. This version now includes full support for Perl and Python applications! The configure script has also been massively expanded and yet another new method for supporting Linux Default Capabilities has been incorporated.
  • 5 Jun 2004 - Since the release of Linux 2.6, Dazuko has had problems working together with other security modules. A new pre-release has been posted which partly addresses this problem. Linux Default Capabilities are now included with Dazuko to allow both features to be active simultaneously.
  • 4 May 2004 - Version 2.0.2 has been officially released. Aside from fixing a few reported bugs, this version also includes full support for RSBAC. In fact, Dazuko has now been incorporated within RSBAC to be used as an anti-virus on-access extension. I consider this to be a major achievement for the Dazuko project and I look forward to working together with the RSBAC project in the future.
  • 15 Apr 2004 - 2.0.2-pre2 has been posted. This pre-release includes support for RSBAC, an open source control framework for Linux kernels. This is big news for Dazuko because RSBAC's interface is both secure and well-respected within the Linux community. Many thanks go out to Amon Ott for his cooperation (and patience) during this effort. RSBAC version 1.2.3-pre5 or higher is required.
  • 4 Apr 2004 - Version 2.0.1 has been released. This new version includes FreeBSD 5 support, fixes in the Dazuko API, fixes for missed file access problems under FreeBSD, and it addresses several problems on older Linux kernels. The move from 1.2.3 to 2.0.0 was a major change. This version fixes all known issues that were introduced by that change. On another note, 2.0.2-pre1 has also been posted. This pre-release version introduces a new abstract method for representing registered processes, which has allowed for some stability enhancements when using the thread-safe API under Linux.
  • 27 Mar 2004 - Another pre-release (2.0.1-pre3) has been posted. This includes an important fix in the Dazuko interface. Until now group names were being cut short, which could cause different applications to be put into the same group. DevFS support was also added for Linux 2.6. It is wonderful to be getting so many contributions from so many people. Thank you!
  • 24 Mar 2004 - A new pre-release of Dazuko has been posted. This new version fixes the remaining problems that were introduced with the 2.0.0 version. While at CeBIT last weekend I was able to meet with a lot of great people to discuss Dazuko and the future. There are a lot of exciting things coming up, but I will need to make sure that an active and detailed task list is kept current. This should help to keep future development "on track" and organized.
  • 16 Feb 2004 - Version 2.0.1-pre1 has been posted. This pre-release fixes an important problem under FreeBSD that caused events to be missed. I am happy to report that this version also includes full support for FreeBSD 5! After being inspired by Dave Jones and Christoph Hellwig, I have started to look into alternatives to hooking the system call table. It is important that the Dazuko Project is respected by other kernel developers.
  • 5 Feb 2004 - Happy Birthday Dazuko! 2 years of open development and it just keeps getting better. After 9 months of planning, implementing, and testing, version 2.0.0 of Dazuko has now been officially released! This marks a major step in Dazuko's evolution as we move forward with a new unified cross-platform design, a new flexible device protocol, and a platform-friendly device medium.
  • 20 Jan 2004 - The final 1.x version of Dazuko has been released, 1.2.3. All future development will be done exclusively on the 2.x branch. The nearly two year progression from version 1.0.0 to 1.2.3 has been a very positive experience and I am very much looking forward to the future.
  • 5 Jan 2004 - With the approaching release of Dazuko 2.0.0, we are getting ready to retire the 1.x series. I have posted a pre-release of version 1.2.3, which includes some minor bug fixes. Unless critical problems are found, 1.2.3 will be the final release for the 1.x series.
  • 24 Dec 2003 - Happy Holidays! I am very pleased to announce a new pre-release of Dazuko 2.0 (pre5). Aside from many improvements, this version also includes support for the new Linux 2.6.0 kernel. Other good news, Savannah is now back up with most of its services running. Soon the Dazuko website will also be improved to provide MD5 sums and PGP signatures for all files. teddy bear
  • 25 November 2003 - Two new products have been added to the list of Dazuko-based applications (RoutiX and AVG Linux Edition). It is good to see new professional products choosing Dazuko for their file access control.
  • 11 November 2003 - Dazuko is now registered with freshmeat.net. Hopefully this will help to increase awareness of the project.
  • 20 October 2003 - While attending Linux Kongress 2003, I learned a lot of great tips for writing device drivers. As a result, 2.0.0-pre4 has been made available. This new pre-release includes important performance, stability, compatibility, and ease-of-use improvements.
  • 13 October 2003 - 2.0.0-pre3 has been posted. Aside from adding ON_UNLINK and ON_RMDIR events, this version also adds more file information to the access structure. Several optimizations and code cleaning up has also been done. Final polishing is taking place, getting ready for the official release of version 2.0 (which is "coming soon").
  • 6 October 2003 - The Virus Bulletin 2003 Conference was a great success. I was able to demonstrate many of the great features of Dazuko, generating a lot of interest in the anti-virus industry. I am looking forward to feedback from the people I met with. Also, a new pre-release has been posted. 2.0.0-pre2 fixes some issues with backwards compatibility and signal handling. This version has entered into an intensive testing phase to prepare for its final release.
  • 22 September 2003 - The future is coming! The 1.3.x branch of Dazuko has been so heavily extended that it has been renamed to 2.0.x. Today 2.0.0-pre1 has been posted. What's so new? The new abstract layer with complete Linux and FreeBSD support. A new key/value based device protocol for easy porting and extension. A new registration mode for applications that are only interested in collecting information. A configure script and Makefile that are 100% GNU/Linux and FreeBSD friendly. An auto-detecting compatibility mode, so that the new 2.0.x branch can work with older 1.x kernel modules. With these new changes, Dazuko is getting ready to take off. Keep watching.
  • 18 September 2003 - Version 1.2.2 has been officially released. Major new features: support for multi-threaded applications (using the new thread safe API) and a configure script. The configure script should make it much easier for people to get Dazuko up and running. Also, one week left until the Virus Bulletin 2003 Conference in Toronto, Canada!
  • 29 August 2003 - A new pre-release (1.2.2-pre3) has been posted. Main features include multi-thread support (along with a multi-threaded example program).
  • 20 July 2003 - LinuxTag 2003 was a great success. Many new contacts were made and my presentation was successful in showing the many uses and high potential of Dazuko. Today a new pre-release, 1.2.2-pre2, has been posted to add support for threaded applications.
  • 9 July 2003 - Two new versions have been posted: 1.2.2-pre1, a continuation of the 1.2.x series with a few minor improvements, and 1.3.0-pre1, which includes a new platform-independent design. The 1.2.x series will be continued (and is recommended) for a while until the new 1.3.x series becomes more mature. 1.3.0-pre1 also includes basic support for non-SMP FreeBSD systems, demonstrating the power and flexibility of the new 1.3.x series.
  • 1 July 2003 - 1.2.1 has been released. This new version has a few minor fixes which help people with older or Red Hat kernels.
  • 14 June 2003 - A new pre-release version, 1.2.1-pre2 has been posted. This version incorporates an extra check that was causing compile problems with older kernels.
  • 12 June 2003 - I will be giving presentations on Dazuko at LinuxTag 2003 on July 10th in Karlsruhe, Germany and at the Virus Bulletin 2003 Conference on Septeber 25th in Toronto, Canada. This is our chance to start showing the world what Dazuko can do.
  • 2 June 2003 - avast! antivirus has been added to the list of applications supporting Dazuko! Their product is available as beta at the moment. Keep 'em coming!
  • 30 May 2003 - Pre-release version 1.2.1-pre1 has been posted. The only change is that it allows Dazuko to load as a kernel module with the new RedHat kernels (using Makefile.sct). See the FAQ for information on how to use it.
  • 14 May 2003 - A Java interface (using JNI) has been developed by Alex Ellwein. This interface exactly matches the C implementation and even provides the exact same example program. The Java interface is also under a BSD License (just as the C interface). Cool stuff.
  • 5 May 2003 - Dazuko-1.2.0 has been released! This is the most stable release from Dazuko to date. I now run multiple Dazuko-based applications on my machine simultaneously without any problems. The change in the interface from 1.1.2 was minor, but important. This change is 100% backwards compatible, so existing software will not have a problem running with the latest version of Dazuko. The Dazuko interface has also been moved to a BSD License. Now commercial organizations have no more excuses not to use Dazuko.
  • 10 Apr 2003 - Dazuko-1.2.0-pre2 is now available! ON_EXEC events are back and looking good. Several small optimizations and bugfixes are in this version. It should run very stable. Developers are recommended to use this version for testing and development.
  • 20 Mar 2003 - I was a little disappointed by the low turnout of Free Software organizations at CeBIT, but I still had a good time. I spread the word about Dazuko to all the anti-virus companies that were represented. I also spoke with Amon Ott from RSBAC about possibly combining some of our efforts.
  • 11 Mar 2003 - CeBIT 2003 starts tomorrow! Of course I will be there, but no presentations this time. :-( I will be at the H+BEDV stand on Saturday, March 15th. The stand is located at H36 in Hall 6. Hope to see you there!
  • 5 Feb 2003 - Happy Birthday Dazuko! One year ago today, Dazuko was released as free software to the community. With this day comes a special pre-release version that contains a major new feature - cascading. A special thanks goes out to all the people who have been helping with and supporting Dazuko.
  • 8 Jan 2003 - Happy New Year! Dazuko 1.1.2 is now officially released! This version contains RedHat fixes, devfs support, performance enhancements and configurable supported events. Nearly all modifications in this version came exclusively from outside help. Thanks to Danila Massa, Andre Duclos and Steve Wade!
  • 18 Dec 2002 - 1.1.2-pre3 is available. The ON_CLOSE_MODIFIED and ON_EXEC events are back, but not by default. All events can now be activated using defines (found in the Makefile). The ON_EXEC code is still a bit unstable, but can now be activated for people that REALLY want it. This version also includes code and concepts submitted by Steve Wade (Swade). The new code improves system performance when the ON_CLOSE_MODIFIED event is activated.
  • 11 Dec 2002 - I was very excited to see that there are Dazuko articles in two magazines this month! Linux Magazin 1/2003 and UNIX OPEN 12/2002.
  • 9 Dec 2002 - Dazuko 1.1.2-pre2 has been released. This includes a patch from Andre Duclos to allow Dazuko to support devfs.
  • 2 Dec 2002 - Clam AntiVirus has been added to the list of applications supporting Dazuko! Slowly but surely Dazuko WILL become a standard.
  • 12 Nov 2002 - Version 1.1.2-pre1 of Dazuko has been made available. This includes a patch from Danilo Massa that allows Dazuko to find the hidden system call table in the new RedHat kernels. See the FAQ for details on how to use this.
  • 17 Oct 2002 - Version 1.1.1 of Dazuko is now available. The execute events are no longer detected. This is due to a number of reports that it sometimes causes kernel errors. Until the Dazuko execve code can be made more robust, this functionality will remain disabled.
  • 12 Aug 2002 - Version 1.1.0 of Dazuko is now available. The ON_CLOSE_MODIFIED event has been eliminated, which may cause compatibility problems with existing software. Please be aware of this when using the new version.
  • 19 Jun 2002 - The Dazuko interface code has been moved to the GNU Lesser General Public License. This will allow Dazuko to be utilized easily by commercial organizations. Right now the LGPL version is only available from CVS.
  • 10 Jun 2002 - I just got back from LinuxTag 2002 and it was great! I had a lot of fun meeting people and discussing Dazuko. Special thanks to Kurt Huwig and Rainer Link from openantivirus.org for some very insightful discussions and a lot of fun!
  • 5 Jun 2002 - We will be at LinuxTag 2002 in Karlsruhe, Germany! The 6th and 7th of June we will have a presentation entitled "Dazuko - Ihr Wachhund für den Dateizugriff" at 16:00 in the Security Forum stand. The presentation will be very similar to that at the CeBIT, except I (John Ogness) will be presenting with Thomas Stelz instead of Detlef Langrock. Hope to see you there!
  • 23 Apr 2002 - Version 1.0.3 of Dazuko has been released. It adds an extra safety check during initialization to help protect your system if you compiled Dazuko with the wrong source code.
  • 12 Mar 2002 - The CeBIT in Hannover started today. I will be there on Friday for our presentation of Dazuko: Hall 6, E-Business Forum at 13:00 on Friday, March 15. The presentation is titled, "Virensuche in Echtzeit auf einem Linux Server" and will be in both German and English. Native speakers of both kind should have no problems understanding. I hope to see you there!
  • 28 Feb 2002 - Version 1.0.2 is released. This version has a new interface for Dazuko that should be the standard. However, until I get some feedback, I won't know how people feel about it.
  • 27 Feb 2002 - dazuko.org is now up and running!
  • 5 Feb 2002 - Dazuko has been released as Free Software under the GNU GPL license. Many thanks to the efforts of H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH and their willingness to contribute to the community. With Dazuko as Free Software, it can now evolve to become a standard interface for 3rd party file access control.
